WOOdman offers the option to purchase the upper and lower headset components individually, allowing you to customize and meet your specific requirements.
The external bottom/lower headset is designed for bottom headtube with 1-1/8" , 1-1/4" or 1.5" steerer forks, and it's engineered to deliver smooth steering and enhance stability on any terrain.

Position Specific Bearings
For extreme use or light weight - the loads a headset has to cope with remain the same. In our Position Specific design we increase the number of balls in the bottom bearing to nearly 100% more than the competition. This, along with our full-grease spec, nearly doubles the lifespan of the lower bearing.
SGC Fork Crown Race
One of the key features of the SPG series is the SGC fork crown race- it can be assembled or removed without any tools.
Our patent SGC crown race allows it to be installed on the fork crown without tools, while the reinforced steel ring prevents deformation during the process. We also added a seal to ensure the least amount of maintenance possible.

I just received a headset and seat clamp. From what I can tell so far, the quality appears to be very high, especially in terms of the finish. Very nice anodized colors. Bearing life on the headset is obviously yet to be determined. But this seems like a really nice option for those who want colored anodizing and solid quality at a reasonable price.
I needed a less common size lower headset cup and WOOdman had the correct one! They shipped it to me very fast and the product arrived just as described. The headset is designed and machined very well. I would strongly recommend WOOdman if you want need well-made products!
